VFT seedlings

These are my 1 year olds seedlings that I separated to the seedling tray a few weeks back. They seem to be happy so far. The one giant one is actually putting up a flower stalk already.. which i guess i should remove at some point. I have just been misting them every once in a while with a very diluted fert... until last week I feed some with a bit of fish food (which my 4 year old later dumped onto a container of sarrs.. and then poured the remaining jug of water onto... saying that he was just feeding and watering them.. so true... though repotting late at night wasn't that fun) Besides the one large one.. the rest seem pretty standard.... so I have put in an order for more seeds from "fancy" varieties to start a new batch and try my luck.

Those grew really fast!

I cannot see the picture from here :(

They look wonderful! Did you put them in a dormancy? and were they all from the same batch of seeds? love the variation!

Thanks. I originally had them handed up in a single pot... So some got crowded by others a bit.... Which could cause some of the size and color differences. They are only a few weeks into receiving the same light at this point... So it will be interesting to see where the end up. The are all seeds I bought labeled as typical and seeded at the same time last winter...and no dormancy yet for these guys. The big ones will go outside in the spring.

Goodness! That one is giant compared to the others. I cannot wait for mine to get that big. Mine are two months away from being one year but they are outside doing it the all-natural way.

if you remove the flower stalk be sure to plant it up and clone that vigorous guy

Just read you post... Sounds like a good idea. I will let it grow out a bit and give it a try
