On the off chance you might find this of interest, Fred, appears that your long antennaed bug (and it is truly a bug by definition) is some type of Jumping plant louse or psyllid.

 
Best bet for a solid ID might be to check with the entomology dept of a university for ones native to your region. Wonder if Kew might be of service?
