Hello everyone!

I cannot seem to find any direct answer to this question, can I keep my VFTs constantly stood in water? Whether they are in a tray full of water or not... Some say that they can for a few hours but if left too long, it can lead to rot. Others say that they do so just fine. Hope you guys can help me out.

Cheers,

I've been growing flytraps for years and I grow them standing in water during the growing season. I generally keep them in only an inch or so of water and when they are dormant I keep them cool, dark and occasionally top water to maintain moisture in the soil having taken them out of the tray.

Thanks for that!
