What my plant's traps die...

Question:
One of the traps on my plant has died. The plant is otherwise in great shape. Should I remove the dead trap, or should I just leave it alone?

Hey FF,
Common practice is to trim dead (black) traps off.  Leave the green parts, though, as they are still capable of photo-synthesis.
