the ABSOLUTE LOWEST temperature that you guys would leave your traps outside. I was going to plant some out in my garden,,but I'm really hesitant.

WELCOME!!

The lowest temp I would go is about 50 degrees. The plant is tolerant of 30-40's but that is when they are resting.

If you are planning on planting your flytrap outside, remember to only use peat moss, perlite, silica sand, or long fiber moss.

Top soil, potting soil and things like that will kill the plant very quickly. It cannot tolerate that minerals, chemicals and nutrients in the soil.
