Yes, this is a dormancy question

Far too old to grow up now.
Sorry, but yes this has a little something to do with dormancy...

My common VFT has produced 2 tiny little plantlettes (they are the cutest little things!

) they are starting to pull/push away from the parent plant.

My question is, does this mean that I have a mature adult parent plant? And if so, then dormancy would be a good thing for this year right?
