I have Two New Questions to ask

1) What does flushing means and is it good to do so?

2) Can a Venus Flytrap eat a butterfly, their are a lot in my yard, or is it too big, and may end up killing the leaf?

Hello,
Flushing means to take the whole pot, and run water through it. Butterflys could work, but would have to be 3/4 the traps size, or else it would be to big,
Kevin

A butterfly is ok for flytraps. Flushing is when you dip the plant in a bowl of water to drown harmful bugs that are on the plant.
