I just took my two common flytraps,as my three red dragons will continue growing for another week or so and put them to sleep. This is what I did I gently took them out of thier soil and swirled them around in a plastic cup of distilled water to wash away all nasty soil. Them with precise tweezers I pulled gently away the old rotted away dead parts of summer traps away from the crisp white bulb and other parts of soil. Then I left the 1 tall summer trap that is just begining to open up and some other still green laeves and trimmed away all of the yellowing and browning old leaves. Next I put dampened white klenex in Zip-Lock baggies and set the cleaned bulbs in between the paper. then I let all or most of the air in the bag out and sealed them shut. I put them in my refridgerator which is 40-43 F constantly. Does this sound good? NO Fungicide Was Applied at ALL EITHER! Does this setup sound good? I hope so Because I don't want to lose my friends
So I'm attached to them!!! thanks Nep.G.
