Well, As any of you know from GardenWeb, this is a highly charged topic, and since I didn't get to read Daniels origional post I think I am going to try and refrain from it.
I would also caution each of you, not to hold your point of view, whether it be Christian, Muslim, Creationist, Or Evolutionist, as infallable, proved, and so on.
Christianity is my way of life, so I believe in it's precepts, concepts, and the Bible, almost blindly, for reasons that are frankly unexplainable in a simple post. All I can say is it's spiritual. At the same time, I recognize that my religion is responsible for some of, if not all, the largest massacares and wars in the history of Man Kind. (Read Crusdades)
As for Evolution, No, it has not been proved over and over, I ask you to examine the scientific method, and apply it to evolution, and then tell me where the hypothesis was TESTED and confirmed as a theory. The same is true of Creationism. They are both Hypothesies on the way the world was created.
Alvin, here is a quick article you can read, whether it means much or not, who knows... consider it personal enrichment and take it as you please!

For Everyone:
I think understanding the origin of our plants is a wonderful, and needed thing. However, let me caution all of you that especially in this time, we need to be tolerant, polite, restrained, and considerate of other peoples views. SO I am going to lay down some ground rules in this topic.
1) If you insult anyone, I am going to ask Phil to Ban you.
2) If the topic get's to heated, and argument, rather than debate starts to break out, I will lock it down, and it will be over.
unlike other forums, This one is all about the free flow of ideas, but format those ideas properly. Thanks
