Y is seed bettr to grow plants from?
it takes 3+ years for a VFT to grow to a decent size from seed, soo y is it beeter to grow them from seed?
does it make the plant stronger or something?
No, seed grown plants and asexually produced plants can't just be bluntly divided into one better or one worse. Its just that one can get a diverse set of variation from seeds but cuttins, TC, of budding produce identical plants. How strong, vigorous, or colorful a plant produced asexually is, is dependent on how the mother plant is like.
However, it's always more fun to grow plants from seeds IMO. Who knows what variations a seed prodeced plant could bore. You could get "Giants," VFTs with magenta traps, upright growth, prostrate growth, and many other varieties. Crossing plants for desired traits could also be fun, but bear in mind that typicals are usually the result.
Because vfts are geneticly unstable, this is what keeps them going in the wild because they have such genetic variances, any "special" trait usualy wont pass on to the offspring and they will look like a bunch of "typicals". However some of the offspring MAY have the desired phenotype(apearence) and others may have the genes but just not show it in there phenotype, if these are self polinated the trait is more likely to show up as the phenotype in the offspring but you still would likely just get a load of "typicals".
