Light

Artificial(Flourecent) vs. Real Sun Ligh
Any Opinions?

Its not always sunny, so I use artificial, but when I get a chance, real light is good.

Real sun brings out really nice color in plants, but can burn them. Artificial lights can make plants grow big, but they really dont bring color out as ell as real sunlight
hope that helps,
Hellz

I have read that Darcie's Drosera spatulata was "burned" by having the artificial light too close to the plants. Different plants require differing amount of light as well as differing direct vs. indirect light. Common plants that require less light or more indirect light or "full shade" are D. adelae and P. primuliflora.
