Dionaea "giant"

I found this info on D. "Giant"

"Dionaea Muscipula 'Giant'
This is not the much talked about 'South West Giant' (although it originates from that part of the UK!). It produces large traps up to 5cm long, and is very vigorous. See the section on plant care for details of how to look after this plant."

Is this really true?  I know I've posted a topic about this before, but I just wanted to double check.

Thanks

Try emailing Rowan. It could be a typical VFT with big traps?

Might also be a "Dingley's Giant" or the other spelling of "Dingley Giant"

All the carnivorous plants sold by Easy Carnivores in the UK come from South West Carnivores in Devon, UK. Alistair, who runs SW Carnivores, gave SW Giant its name, so you can be confident that your getting the real McCoy too.

I had a good go at trying to get Alistair to register SW Giant as a cultivar a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully he'll do so soon.
