Hi all. I'm new here. I just got my VFTs in the mail. I just wondered if well water is safe to give my VFTs? As far as I know there are no chemicals in it.

You can send a sample of the water to a laboratory and they can test it fro Ca, MG, K, Na, and Total Dissolved Solids - to be sure.

Well water and domestic tap water vary greatly in chemical composition from area to area. I am fortunate where I live because the city tap water has very low dissolved minerals and I have used it on CPs for decades. All I do is let it stand in an open container for a day or so to let the chlorine gas-off. If you live in an area where the high mineral content, it is best to avoid it. Use rain water instead. As jimscott said, you can get your water sample tested fairly easily.
