Undeveloped traps

Some of my traps are only partially forming and don't seem to grow any more. Half of it will be partially open with teeth while the other half has no teeth and is closed. Any ideas why?

hmm it could be something to do with the time of year a lot of vfts have been going strange near fall

If it is severly deformed it could be an aphid attack. Or maybe you giving it Insuffiant light or water.

true but it could be that its in shock has anything been done to the vft in the past howmany weeks they sometimes dont grow propally then

I think it's probably insufficient light.

I got these about 2 months ago from the bare root sale, so it's not shock.

maybe i'll go buy a florecent.
