My first flytrap

Hello everyone on these boards. I live in arknasas and just bought a venus flytrap 2 days ago a lows. I know this is a bit of a bad time to buy them since its getting colder but i couldnt resist since this is the first time ive seen them here.I just wanted a few tips on taking care of it.Right now ive got it under the computer desk lamp in the container it came in. I trimmed off one of the dead brown traps off and 2 other traps are looking a little yellowish.

I hope these pictures come out well iam new to putting pics up on a mess. board.
