Trap closes without trigger hairs being touched

Have any of you ever had that happen? I was sort of pushing one of my traps off to the side to get to a trap that was dead so i could cut it off. Well, I was very careful to make sure that I didn't even come close to the inside of the trap i was pushing over a bit, but the darn thing still slammed shut anyway! Why would it do that when I never even touched any of the trigger hairs? It's one of my newest traps to sprout up and one of the biggest too. Any thoughts on that? Thanks.

Well my guess is as long as the trigger hairs are vibrated in any way, doesn't has to be touched, the signals are sent and the trap shuts. I have many traps close from moving and shifting.

Sometimes you can just bump the pot good and have one shut.
