Yes, the adealea has begun its root runners.:banana2: There are already 13 of them. Now it is only a matter of time before the terrarium is covered with them. MUAHAHAHA!!
 
Hi there kinda funny because today I also planted my D adealea in a pot that is about 35x35 cm in circle form. I used Perlite vermiculite dry sphagnum moss and peat. Iff u look on the picture off mine is the plant soon big enough for spread and fill that pot ? :p

And its close to my aquarium tank with Utricularia australis :)

 
I really dont know how big they have to be, but as long as they are happy, then they will start rootrunners, and yours is about as big as mine and the substrate sounds fine.
