So I joined this forum over a year ago and never really participated much. However, I've learned alot from the great community here and am hoping to share the little knowledge I have and gain some more! I'm currently in college (Penn State) and spending the summer at my parents farm before...
I finally did it. There is now a white flowered D. tokaiensis. Only pink flowered plants have been found in nature. Using the Colchicine elixir I successfully transmuted a white flowered sterile hybrid D. x tokaiensis (D. rotundifolia X spatulata) it into the fertile D. tokaiensis. Thanks to...
So about a year ago I started a variety of drosera seed on shredded sphagnum. Maybe half germinated any, and only d. tokaiensis survived to appreciable sizes. They were actually doing fantastic for a few months, but are now losing dew and seem to be dying back. I'm just extremely frustrated...
Few d tokaiensis sprouted this year so I'll give away one or two. Winner pays shipping!
I'll see how much interest there is and let it go for a few days. PM for trades as well.

I have what was sent to me as D. x tokaiensis and D. spatulata "Fraser Island" and I'm worried I got them mixed up label-wise since they're super similar. However, both are flowering now and from what I've gathered the first is generally pink while the latter is white. Is that consistently true...
Drosera tokaiensis
Up for sale are two fully mature plants taken from my collection. This polyploid species is often mistakenly called D. spatulata, but has leaves that are more paddle shaped and a more narrow petiole. It can reach 2" across, coloring deep green with red blushing in good light...
Drosera tokaiensis x spatulata "white flower"
Up for sale is one fully mature, possibly flowering plant selected from my parent pot of plants. This is a personal hybrid, between two of the most vigorous sundews I've seen. This plant averages around 2 inches across, with elongate spoon shaped...
Drosera tokaiensis x sp. Lantau Island
Up for sale is one semi-mature plant of this cross. It is a personal hybrid, and an attractive one in good conditions. Plants can reach 2" across, with elongate, paddle shaped leaves that tend to be olive green with a red blush and scarlet tentacles...

I started a lot of seeds I got form ICPS a few months ago. Some haven't germinated yet, while other, particularly D. tokaiensis, are taking off. However, being started on shredded sphagnum, some of this has come to life and it rapidly outgrowing most of the germinated species. Will the...
Hey Folks - I'm a pretty big fan of Drosera graomogolensis, Drosera esmeraldae, Drosera oblanceolata and would love to add any of them to my collection. I have several species of Drosera that are currently flowering and will be harvesting the seeds once the stalks ripen. If anyone has seeds of...
