Giveaway is now closed. Thank you to everyone who entered.
I have a package of seeds to give away. The parent plant was grown from D. capensis "Giant" seeds. ( Source: ICPS Seedbank ) The seeds grew into large vigorous plants...
Hi-
In regard to the above stated hybrid, (or cultivar?) - what is the correct spelling?
An internet search just lead me in circles.
Thanks!!
Best regards, Lisa
Hey, all.
I have recently acquired an n. "lady luck" and it's in a bio dome with a 1/2" plug of soil in it. Naturally, I want to re-pot it. What is the optimal soil mix for this cultivar? Any other care tips for n. "lady luck" are also appreciated.
Akai Ryu was introduced to the world in June of 1996. It was published in the Carnivorous Plant Newsletter. I think that was the first registered cultivar for Dionaea. I fell in love with it instantly and bought one as soon as it was commercially available. It didn't survive long for me but it...
They look so similar what are the noticeable differences between the cultivar Aphrodite and moctezumae x gigantea? Or perhaps not so noticeable differences?
I've had this N. ampullaria in my care for a while, but I don't know what variety or cultivar it is, if it even is one. I ask because I took several cuttings earlier and the id is now important if I trade these once they root. Hopefully these pictures are enough. Thanks
For bid is a roughly one-half inch plug of Utricularia bisquamata 'Bettys' Bay'. This cultivar is the famous "tame" version of the species that does not invade other pots by producing unwanted seed and, in addition, it has larger flowers. Nice stuff. Sorry I don't have any photos but it is just...
Hey all, I was wondering, which is really bigger, b52 or dc xl? I don't own either cultivar, so I can't use my own experience. What's your experience? Thanks.

I have been wanting to get a red vft for a while now, but I have heard they are less hardy than the green varieties. Is this true? I was looking into getting an akai ryu cultivar.
I've heard from some care guides (One specifically in mind) that the cultivar 'Titan' enters succulent growth in the summer, rather than in the winter. This seems really strange to me given the parentage (agnata x macrophylla), but I have increased the photoperiod in my growspace, and my 'Titan'...
WTB: Sarr 'Reptilian Rose'
I know this is a pricey cultivar and hard to find but hopefully I'll have a little luck here. I'm a nepenthes lover at heart and not usually sarracenia but this one looks wonderful enough that I need to see for myself.

I bought a kit from that big name home improvement store that sells kits in death cubes. It came with a sarr and a VFT, or to be more precise, a big clump of rhizomes with a twisted mess of a small FVT growing from it. I planted it and hoped for the best that somewhere in the mess a sarr rhizome...
Figured I'd add this here... I've got some succession pictures for you. First, though, I will give you some background on this plant. It came out of dormancy this past spring and flowered for me, because I wanted to get seed from it, and my FTS Maroon Monster was flowering and I thought that...
My grow list is very short :(.

2 D. 'Floating'
Some strange spiky grass...
