My opener, Running Serviceberry, Amelanchier stolonifera in bloom. Flowers have a mild scent that is rose like, or maybe rose light! Take away most of the sweet component in the fragrance of an old garden rose and there you have it to my nose. Not surprising considering they're both in the same family. Hopefully I'll have fruit by the middle of June.
