Nepenthes cutting from flower?

Hi,
I was just wondering, can you do a cutting from the flower stalk from a nepenthes? I have a couple that are starting to flower, and before i cut them off and compost them, it occurred to me that you might be able to do cuttings with them.
Has anyone tried and had any success?
