Hi everyone!
I'm from the Northern Lower Peninsula of Michigan, been growing CPs for about 1 year now and totally addicted.
I've been reading a lot online & in books. I've been primarily active on the reddit page r/SavageGarden learning, sharing pictures, and making some exchanges. I'm trying...
Hey folks.
I just harvested this season's D. anglica seeds from my bog garden. I have a number of ripe looking seed pods that are starting to leak seeds. I'd love to trade them all in bulk or bit by bit depending on what you have to offer. These are temperate plants from the southeast...

I tried to germinate CP seeds in test tubes filled with distilled water, using a magnifying glass to easily see when they started to germinate and sprout a root and leaves. I tried tropical and subtropical species, mostly Drosera. I wrote that up a few months ago as CP Water Germination...
Went out with ScatterPants this past weekend to look for reported Drosera rotundifolia and Drosera anglica, as well as native Sphagnum species.
We were unsuccesful in finding D. anglica, but found a bit of D. rotundifolia and plenty of Sphagnum squarrosum.
D. rotundifolia & S. squarrosum...
Hey all,
I noticed there's a few of you in here from around the Portland, OR area, so I'll be one more to the party!
Scatterpants and I are good friends and have been feeding each others plant addictions the last few months, particularly in the CP/orchid area.
While he tends to focus more on...

I am offering this sarracenia division. It came to me labeled only as "sarracenia species" so I really have no clue what it is. It did flower this spring (pics included below) and the division you are getting ships with whatever flower stalks are attached. I never bagged or Covered the flowers...
I'm looking for Japanese locales of Drosera spatulata, Drosera indica, Drosera rotundifolia and Drosera anglica for a community pot. Check out my growlist for trade options. Either seeds or plants are fine. Would prefer seeds of D.indica.
Thanks
Hi all,
I'm curious to see whether anybody is still growing one of Dr. FrankenSnyder's early creatures: the fabulous fertile octoploid D. x nagamotoi.
If you have no idea what this is about, here's the story in a nutshell: the usual hybrid D. x nagamotoi (= D. anglica x spatulata) is sterile...
Hello,
Up for auction are two D. anglica plants that are just beginning to exit dormancy. These are from my personal outdoor bog and are native to southeast Alaska. I have been told that this variety is especially awesome looking. You will receive the two plants that are in the first photo...
Up for auction is a packet of around 50 seeds from this Drosera anglica CA × HI.
This is a very vigorous hybrid of the tropical and temperate forms of D. anglica created by Ivan Snyder. The pictured plant went from a leaf cutting to flowering maturity in 5 months. Being that this is a hybrid...
