Hi, I was just wondering, can you do a cutting from the flower stalk from a nepenthes? I have a couple that are starting to flower, and before i cut them off and compost them, it occurred to me that you might be able to do cuttings with them. Has anyone tried and had any success? Thanks!!

Is this normal? Should I try to do something about it or just let it grow? I have a second cutting of the same plant (aristolochioides x spectabilis) which looks like it's going to do the same thing. Both cuttings activated 2 nodes when they rooted as well.
