You can see the flower stalk in the picture, I cut it off just minutes after snapping this picture to promote trap growth. I will continue to snip stalks if more pop up. Very vigorous. My outdoor plants last year exploded quickly. Great deep red...
Hi everyone. I've recently taken to stopping and snapping a picture of any wildflowers as I'm driving about, and this morning the wife and I took a hike around our little state park and took quite a few photos. We've had a pretty wet and mild spring so the flowers are really popping up right...

My wife and I were out hunting for chantrelle mushrooms today..
While wandering around, we quickly realized our woodlands had suddenly turned into marshlands. We were forced to push through some thick brush and prickers trying to find our way back over to the path we came in on. It was at this...

After a recent failure with Heliamphora, I considered setting up a highland terrarium, but out it off. Today I was kind-of spontaneously (I had a week's warning, really) given a teeny little Heli. and some Utricularia quelchii. Oh, boy-- I gotta DO something, and keep these alive. I had an Exo...
Hi guys,
I have been away for a while now from the CP hobby. Things are still slow and chugging along and the remake of my terrariums is still sometime in the future. But in the meanwhile, this is what I have been up to. Still having issues a bit with water clarity..it looks just a bit green...
While snapping some pics of the baby Wacky Traps and its double headed leaf, i noticed something odd.. The traps(all of them) are covered in weird little goldish colored dots.. I dont think they're a parasite or eggs, only thing I can think of is its crystalized ferts from when I misted them...
My mother and I road tripped down to Portland this past weekend for the Portland Home and Garden show/Orchid show.. So many gorgeous orchids.. I was pretty much just snapping at random.. lol.. And I know relatively little about orchids, just that I love them.. heh. I barely know enough to label...

Walked around the bog today snapping pics. Not a whole lot to see yet, but they are definitely starting to come up!
My boy hasn't mowed in a couple weeks due to all the rain. So the majority of drosera growth was found on the path.
My wife & I spent most of the previous week on a long-overdue vacation in Puerto Rico. The better part of two days of this were spent in El Yunque. I took almost 400 pics during our vacation and the vast majority were within this rainforest. Needless to say, I've attempted to whittle the number...
