I believe it is formally called H. heterodoxa x minor, but it is of an old wistuba stock that differs from currently available specimens so it has been affectionately named after TF's favorite heli grower who has been so generous to all of us TF'ers over the years.

After this last round of renaming, reclassifying and splitting up species (the Sarracenia splitters? OMG) I see that Wistuba has renamed some things to align with new taxonomy classifications (have I said this correctly?). Looking at Wistuba's New Guinean plants, I see that there still exists a...
a number of months ago i received my wistuba order, containing N. muluensis and N. tenuis.
surprisingly, despite the number of negative things i heard on muluensis being difficult to grow, it has not put up a single fuss, since unbagging and potting up, and through the acclimating process. Even...
Hi folks,
I've been raising this nep since it was a rootless bud from Wistuba. It was sold to me as a N. macrophylla but recent reports state that a lot of the so called macros from Wistuba turned out to be N x Trusmadiensis. I think it's reached a point where it maybe possible to make a...

I was surprised to see the stalk pubescent, reminiscent of H. pulcehlla (Akopan Tepui, Wistuba)
This is an old Wistuba clone, I've not read the current description of H. ionasii to see if this is mentioned as a characteristic.

I just received three Heliamphoras from Wistuba.
The problem was I ordered and paid for FOUR. So after contacting Wistuba Iwas told they shipped four to their US distribution in Hagerstown, MD, but they did not send them all to me.
But I am happy to report that Wistuba said that they will send...
Ok so as some of you know, I am setting up a new terrarium specifically for heliamphora. I ordered the supplies already and they are coming now. I will be posting pictures of the plants I get and the stuff I use for my setup. As of last night Wistuba has contacted me, telling me that my shipment...

Hello everyone, I'm planning to get a nepenthes clipeata from wistuba. The problem is I don't know which one to choose from! There's clone 2, 3, and U. I'm wondering which one is more vigorous and has the gender for all clones been confirmed? I'm pretty sure that 2 and 3 are males but I haven't...
